July 28, 2026

The sixth episode of the second season of From Care to Cure, a podcast from the Massachusetts General Hospital Frontotemporal Disorders Unit, is available today. In season two, Katie Brandt, our Director of Caregiver Support Services and Public Relations, will talk to various members of our clinical research team and community experts about the FTD care team, who should be on an FTD care team and the roles each individual plays within the team.  This episode presents a discussion between our host, Katie Brandt, and attorney Pam Greenfield, Partner and Co-Founder at Birchgrove Law Collaborative, about legal planning after a diagnosis of FTD, Alzheimer’s disease and related conditions, what documents families should put in place and the gift such advanced planning is to families living alongside these conditions.

The MGH FTD Unit clinical research program is committed to providing the highest quality of care while we work tirelessly for a cure for FTD, atypical and young-onset forms of Alzheimer’s Disease and related neurological disorders. You can learn more about the MGH FTD Unit at www.FTDBoston.org.

We would like to thank Bernie Metzger for our beautiful music, an excerpt from Bernie’s composition Ramblings An FTD Journey, inspired by his wife Karen Zander’s journey with FTD.
