Katie Brandt, MGH FTD Unit Director of Caregiver Support Services and Public Relations, was featured on New Hampshire Public Radio. Katie spoke about the importance of support for family caregivers, including expert elder law and financial advice, therapy and care partner support groups. About support groups, Katie said ““Sometimes we do talk about feelings, but a lot of times we’re talking about real logistics, like nuts and bolts of caregiving.” Care partners can find a support group appropriate to their situation at the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration or the Alzheimer’s Association.
