Geenie Chiravanich is a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Frontotemporal Disorders(FTD) Unit. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California, where her research focused on excitatory synapses and homeostatic plasticity at the Drosophila neuromuscular junction. Aspiring to attend medical school and specialize in Neurology, Geenie currently works with participants in the ARTFL-LEFFTDS Longitudinal Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration (ALLFTD) study, conducting neuroimaging and neuropsychological testing. Outside of her professional pursuits, Geenie balances her life with playing golf, caring for her cat, exploring the art of fragrances, and training for marathons.
