The second episode of the second season of From Care to Cure, a podcast from the Massachusetts General Hospital Frontotemporal Disorders Unit, is available today. In season two, Katie Brandt, our Director of Caregiver Support Services and Public Relations, will talk to various members of our clinical research team and community experts about the FTD care team, who should be on an FTD care team and the roles each individual plays within the team. Our second episode of season two, available now, features a conversation with Deepti Putcha, PhD, a neuropsychologist and the Director of the MGH FTD Unit’s Posterior Cortical Atrophy Program, about the role that neuropsychologists can play on an FTD care team and the importance of neuropsychological testing in diagnosis, understanding of disease progression and research.
We would like to thank Bernie Metzger for our beautiful music, an excerpt from Bernie’s composition Ramblings An FTD Journey, inspired by his wife Karen Zander’s journey with FTD.
Amy Almeida is our producer.
