Matthew Walsh is an Adult-Geriatric Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner. He is MA native who grew up on Cape Cod and now living in Wakefield, MA. He earned both his BSN and MSN from Duke University. He has worked at Massachusetts General Hospital since 2018 where he has spent 6 years as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac ICU and the past 2 years as a Nurse Practitioner in the Neuro ICU. While he loves Critical Care, he had other medical interests specifically to learn how the specialties of Psychiatry and Neurology intersect. He is now working as a Nurse Practitioner in the Division of Behavioral Neurology and Integrated Brain Medicine. One of the clinics he see’s patients in is the Frontal-Temporal Dementia Clinic at MGH where he works alongside Dr. Brad Dickerson doing follow-up appointments to help patients as they progress through their illness. In his free time, he enjoys reading and traveling!
